So I interviewed for a job a couple weeks ago. Yesterday I got the rejection email. No biggie, right? Literally 6 hours later I got an alert from LinkedIn about a new job posting (~8 hours) for the same position at the same company. What even is job hunting these days?

For the record, my neighbour had a bad spill down the stairs and his wife came to get me to help move him and check on him before calling the ambulance. He had a nasty scalp wound that bled like the dickens. I told her to call the ambulance immediately and checked his response before sitting him up and applying a wet towel to his head. I held it in place until the paramedics arrived, about 6 minutes later.

I’m amazed at how many ex navy SEALs are sensitive Rhodes scholars with enormous d\*\*\*s.
A bit of context is probably needed there.
My wife has a couple of e-book series that could loosely fit into the “bodice ripper” romantic fiction genre. They are actually quite good and I have read them myself.
But…
Because she has these series, she is obviously interested in _all_ bodice rippers, and often gets sent free ones as teasers for other series. To my eternal shame, I have actually read some of those free books when I have been a bit bored.
I really wish I hadn’t.
But once I start a book I find it difficult not to finish it unless it is absolutely dire. And, while some of the books have come close to being absolutely dire, most are just really bad. And exactly the same story.
In probably 75% of the books, the male protagonist is an ex navy SEAL, all are highly intelligent, very sensitive to a woman’s needs, very assertive (but not to the point of abuse), and (obviously) with an enormous d\*\*k (no, not _is_ an enormous d\*\*k).
Having got that confession off my chest, I will understand if you feel the need to ban me from the forum.
Edit: Apparently a double asterisk is just treated as you italicising nothing. I wrote d asterisk asterisk k and it was just displaying dk.

Yesterday I discovered that being on crutches for 6 weeks is not good training for 4.5 hour walks on steep terrain. Further to that, about 3 hours would be the limit while still building back the lost stamina.
This morning I discovered that overextending yourself by that much leads to difficulty walking the next day ☹
I’m pretty sure it’s only temporary though as it’s just really sore muscles.

Am I correct in believing that Guys with small dicks will most probably take pains and extra effort with a relationship, whereas guys with big ones just think they provide quality and don’t do much effort. Big ones also have the tendency to be more unfaithful. ??

The supply shortages we’re running into are projected to create more around Christmastime. In short, if you already haven’t ordered it, you may not be able to get it by then.
That said, are shortages of The Elf on the Shelf doll really such a bad thing?

No, but shortages of ham, turkey, pumpkin, beef, vegetables, pork, anything made of plastic or from China, things with parts made somewhere else in them, or things made in other parts of the US. 5+% inflation kind of sucks too.
Maybe everyone can source a single can of this easily enough.

I found out the past couple years that most plastic bottles and that may be made in the US, but most of them are made from raw plastic from China. The glass bottles for yeast, India. Heck, one of our products is made in the US, the containers are made in the US from US plastic, and the Lids come from China.
Another product is made in Canada, with US paper, and then shipped back here. Turns out three border crossings in this environment is a bit difficult and one of our suppliers has just shut their doors because it’s all just not worth it. They literally took their balls and went home. It sucks when the rich, or near rich, decide to just shut it all down and live off their cash because it just isn’t worth it.

ATOMIC BLOSSOM
After receiving V2 rocket plans, plutonium, and uranium oxide snuck into Japan by German U-boat No.234, the Imperial Japanese applied their new technology to the pre-existing Cherry Blossom kamikaze plane. This new jet was to function as a human piloted atomic bomb to be deployed from bombers during the defense of Japan.
Key Features:
Large detonation hammer ensures the bomb explodes upon impact in case the air burst mechanisms fail.
40mm guns fixed to main fuselage after brave Allied pilots began trying to detonate the Blossoms prior to their goal by flying their planes straight into the Blossom’s path.
Rotationally adjustable vents allow the plane a slight degree of directional correction after being launched from a heavy bomber.
The canopy and tail are the only recognizable parts left of the Blossom’s fuselage which has been adapted from the Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter aircraft.
The canopy is welded shut after the pilot has entered the cockpit.
