We run multiple security screenings on refugees coming into the US. Multiple interviews and checks.
I’m not against taking some people in, but what?
If I’m Joe Wanna-Be Suicide Bomber how would you catch me and my wife and kids in an interview? Not like I gave you a valid ID, or that I even had one to begin with.
7 million refugees, and we’ll take 10k. Why bother.

Our Customs and TSA are a joke. And it’s been shown, repeatedly, that the procedures they are using would not have stopped the terrorists on 9/11.

I had the shock of my life last night. I made beer mac & cheese with greenbeans out of the garden for dinner. My roommate came in afterwards and actually said, “Thank you for making dinner. I appreciate it.” 0\_0

If Asda (Wal-Mart, but painted green) really keeps reporting continues economic growth despite the other major supermarkets showing a slow-down, then surely they can afford to fix the light in the shop sign that is strobing at a particularly violent nausea-inducing frequency.
I mean, I’m not particularly prone to disliking flashing lights, and there’s no history of epilepsy in my family, but just walking past the store is enough exposure to Das Blikinlicht for me to feel rather queasy for the following hour or so…

The people in the marketing department at DreamWorks Animation need to select their review quotes a little more carefully.
From the version of _Mr. Peabody & Sherman_ that was sold with a plush toy at Walmart:
“Smart, Funny and Fun” - Sam Rubin, KTLA
From the covers of the various versions of _Home_:
“Smart, Fun and Funny”
I thought maybe the same person had given the same review for two movies, but it took doing a search to find out that one was by Bill Bergoli of CBS Radio.

Background: I’m an RPG nerd. I’ve collected JRPG and RPG games for as long as I can remember.
I finally beat _Final Fantasy VI_, which I’ve been meaning to do since I was in High School. Given all the praise it received, I was surprised to find that I wasn’t all that taken to it. I still think Final Fantasy IV was better overall. FF6 just seemed to have so many plot holes in it that I lost interest, which explains why it’s taken 3 different times to get through this game. It’s over, it’s done. Most I can say is, I love the music. Everything else was sorta lackluster for me.
