There has been an update in the community guidelines regarding “link 'n runs.” Just a friendly reminder, please remember to write something to start a discussion with your link rather than just the link. That’s just way too many rules. How am I supposed to remember them all? 😛 I didn’t realize “link and run” was becoming an issue here. ---

It was an issue in the past, and it isn’t a problem yet, but it has been creeping in lately, so we mods decided to post a reminder before it did become an issue. ---

A lot of my posts in [Web Find of the Day](http://cog.discourse.group/t/web-find-of-the-day/) are, in fact, link 'n runs, if you want to get technical about it. I just wanted to point that out in case @Lee_Ars decides to hire a trigger happy moderator around here someday. 😛 ---

Yeah, we understand that sometimes, just a link is about enough. Maybe say WHY you think it’s cool, or why you think folk here would like it. The ones we grew to dislike were the ones in a discussion thread… like olitics, or whatever, that were just a link.
