Song: I Send A Message
Artist: INXS
Album: The Swing

Thanks, @lentronā€¦ After I saw your post, that song was stuck in my head the whole rest of the day. Over and over. LoL

ā€œBecause your friends donā€™t dance, and if they donā€™t dance, well, theyā€™re no friends of mineā€¦ā€

Then when it came on the radio of my alarm clock this morning, I couldnā€™t hit the snooze button fast enough.

Always a pleasure to share RoadRunner

If it makes you feel any better the song got stuck in my head too. Found myself washing dishes at my in-laws cafe on Saturday singing that hook over and over as couldnā€™t remember the rest of the lyrics.

Listening to the Ambient station on Digitally Imported while I sit at a table in Ceasarā€™s Palace in Las Vegas for a work meeting, since Iā€™m one of the ones who got selected to come out here and man the on-site helpdesk for a sales meeting.

ā€œIā€™m Feeling Luckyā€ mix on Google Play Music. Gawd, I am such a dinosaur.

Wahnfried 1883 by Klaus Schulze

Iā€™ve been listening to the Greenwich Village Folk playlist on Songza most of today in honour of Pete Seegerā€™s passing. Definitely getting added to ā€œMy Playlistsā€.

Song: Owner of a lonely heart
Artist: Yes
Album: 90125

(I am beginning to think that my iTunes ā€œGeniusā€ has some serious psychological issues. It jumps from 80s pop to electronica to death metal semi-randomly.)

Heavy Metal (Soundtrack)

I love this album, and the movie (Though not as much as I did as a kid), but itā€™s funny what passed as heavy metal then.

The rise of thrash and death metal some time after the movie was released ended up redefining the genre altogether.

I guess the definition was much broader then too. Devo and Queen and REO Speedwagon arenā€™t exactly the kings of metal. This was 1981though so who knows what we were thinking.

Pop Metal, perchance?

What a horrific thought.

I did hear some Screamo group doing Oops, I did it again yesterday. I liked the drums and guitar, but Iā€™ve never been a fan of people who scream their lyrics. Or that guttural chant thing.
