Fallout 4 - thoughts

You haven’t felt true rage until Dogmeat stands in front of you while you’re lining up the naughtiest line of sight ever in your scope…

I read that in the voice of Ron Swanson.

BTW, I’m hooked. I didn’t think I would, but I’ve really enjoyed playing Fallout 4. I don’t get to play as often as I would like, which is probably a good thing, but I play more than the wife would prefer.
I had fun recently making a few settler condos, though I got carried away and a few are much larger than necessary.

THREADUS RESURRECTUS!

I just started playing Fallout: New Vegas (with all the DLCs) in preparation for Season 2 of the TV show coming out. So far I’m enjoying it. I like what I’ve seen of the storyline so far. I like the karma and reputation aspect, and I like that if you put on a faction’s armor it has consequences, both positive and negative. I also like how you allocate skill points when you level, and get “perks” at certain levels. I’m not fond of the Maintain/Repair your weapons and apparel mechanic, but I can live with it. And I wish I’d known that magazines are like chems - they only provide the perk for a short period of time, unlike Fallout 4.

New Vegas is my favorite in the series.

Fallout 2 is my favorite. I just couldn’t get into the console style controls in Fallout 3.
