NFL Sunday Ticket

So anyone use the NFL Sunday Ticket for football? My dad wants it, but it’s not clear if he needs to get YouTube TV first as well or if there’s some other option.

They don’t need the basic plan as they’re reasonably happy with basic cable. (Actually I think they pay for all the channels but I digress.) If it’s the only option I’ll suggest cord cutting but keep in mind this is my mother and father who are both in their 70s so…

Ideally I’d love if they could just pay a couple hundred for what they want and not the base plan but I have no idea if this is available.

  • $300 for the standard Sunday Ticket, but you also have to have YouTubeTV ($73/month). Bonus 4 months of Max included if you’re eligible.
  • $339 for Sunday Ticket plus RedZone, but you have to also have YouTubeTV ($73/month). Bonus 4 months of Max included if you’re eligible.
  • $400 for standard Sunday Ticket through YouTube
  • $439 for standard Sunday Ticket plus RedZone, through YouTube

So it ends up being cheaper if you get YouTubeTV bundled with it, even if you don’t use YouTubeTV.
