Wishing you well also. Your current job seems like a complete nightmare.
Work may close due to securities getting called in on a big loan… (heard it today from my boss)
I’m not worried. One door closes, other door opens.

I didn’t have to. My application for a job in a different department (which I did not get) lead to them “finding” a new role for me in a similar dept and function to the one I applied to. Though technically a demotion, (new role pays 5 percent less then position I am vacating) tremendous pressure has been lifted from shoulders.

Good to see you here, @Gnatdbug. And less stress is always a good thing… maybe you can get some of that pay back soon.
