Back in my time in Florida, the nearest Burger King was once closed abruptly. Like, “letter to staff on the doors” abruptly. The official notice was a failure from the health department causing closure for “renovations.”

Local investigation revealed a staffer had been adding his DNA to the sandwiches. The place was closed for more than a year. The exterior was partly demolished and the building was half-rebuilt. It had new owners on top of all-new interiors when it reopened. It was the least they could do to get the permits to reopen.

Eh? Sounds disgusting.

I think disgust is the intended reaction.

I swear, every day we (as a species) circle the drain more.
