I loved that episode!
Its a small popout, but it makes the interior so much bigger. I just finished, finally, fixing the water heater. I hadnât drained it all the way last year, what I thought was the drain was the overpressure release. So I blew the tank over the winter, and I replaced the tank itself last month but either some of the piping also went or I broke it on installation. So yesterday was replacing a bunch of pex lines and fittings. And now I have the hot water again.
We already camped quite a bit and wanted to more often, so while you are correct, we were already infected before we bought it.
Yes, Richard Hammond used sheet metal so he could assemble an area that gave him several rooms. The problem was there wasnât any internal bracing and it was very windy that night so the walls kept making noise all night long.
Scrolling through old threads and stumbled upon this one.

Yes, thatâs the same campsite in both pics!
Nice! Just used ours for a youth camp. We use the adult leaderâs campers to divide the boys and girls tents. Itâs not stopping anyone much, but it does provide a visual break, and we usually know who the couples are and we havenât had an issue yet.
Been looking at downsizing and also upgrading. The basic equipment on a camper is now well beyond the extras we could have bought 9 years ago. Ran mine on an inverter and fought the converter box the whole time. Need to run a bypass to get it inverter ready.
Thatâs a nice rig youâve got there. Mine is a 29 footer, plenty of space, but in a floorplan that seems to waste most of it, the newer ones are so much more efficient, and ours has all that dark wood and tan walls so itâs like living in a 1980âs cave.
