Brady is already the GOAT. However Mahomes has a chance to surpass him when all is said and done IMO.
Debatable. He made it to the Super Bowl on one of his worst seasons. He’s always been a system quarterback surrounded by a team that is all above average and a defense that is killer.
Manning will always be the GOAT to me because of his obviously better grasp of the game. If something goes wrong for Brady he can’t adjust.
However, having had 2 billion conversations on this I will cede Brady as an acceptable alternative.

Peyton is often considered to be better, but you could easily argue that Eli was better - it depends what you use to judge it.
I said “may well be the GOAT” because there are arguments for a number of players (including both Mannings), and it’s really hard to compare players of different generations.
I understand what you say about Brady, but that could also be a strength - the fact that he helped (a little bit at least) set up those systems and the players around him.

Mahomes is a very special talent, and hugely enjoyable to watch. I see a lot of Super Bowl rings in his future - as long as he manages his career well. That’s one of the areas that Brady excelled, and one of the reasons Brady may be considered the GOAT. It’s not only on the field that he was talented.
Part of the reason the Bucs are in the Super Bowl is because Brady got involved with selections / coaching. It may only be a small part, but it certainly helped.
I’m a lifelong Giants fan and a healthy Peyton was way better than Eli. Hell, I won’t even be surprised or upset if it takes Eli 2-3 attempts to get into the HoF, but I fully expect Peyton to be a shoo-in this year. I expect Eli will get in based on longevity/durability, beating the Pats twice in the Super Bowl, and succeeding in spite of his penchant for getting intercepted.
But both were saddled with poor supporting casts for a while - Peyton had a number of years with poor defenses, and Eli suffered for far too long at the hands of Kevin Killdrive.
Bailouts does not work. Period.
Those responsible need to pay out of their own nasty pocketses. Only then will they realize the consequences of their actions and start to ensure that the business(es) generate a healthy profit instead of being a millstone around the neck of the taxpayer.
