As noted in the article, Friday is the 50th anniversary of the iconic play.
Theyâre still alive, but the lives of eight teenage girls are effectively dead. They have been charged with second-degree murder of a man in Toronto, Canada, who died after they committed a âswarmingâ attack against him. The USA Today article didnât say what the reason was for attacking him, but did say they might have been trying to take a bottle of alcohol from him.
Three are 13, three are 14 and two are 16. This will be the first of likely many Christmases spent in jail.
Yup. Apparently at least some of them âare known to the policeâ, meaning theyâve been in trouble before.

One of them has been given bail; the other seven have their bail hearings in the new year.
There has been some debate over who is the greatest of all time, with Lionel Messi being touted over Pele, but to me thatâs wrong. No question that Messi is incredible - he does what he does better than anyone else has, but Pele did things that nobody had ever seen before. He won the first of his 3 world cup medals when he was just 17, scoring 2 goals in the final.
