What Made You Happy Today?

I bought a kit at my home brewer shop for the cheese, I’ve seen it on amazon too. But we can “refill” it just by buying the stuff. The kit was handy to get our feet wet.

This isn’t the one we got, but looks awesome, and makes a lot more cheese. Ours only did 2 batches for like $15.

This one looks like about what we do. It’s a yogurt with bite. We flavor by the cup. Throw some frozen fruit in a tupperware container, cover with yogurt, shake when ready to eat. And honey for sweet, and we make our own vanilla extract for it for plain. Good sub for sour cream.

That yogurt recipe is easier than using the yogurt maker I bought years ago! Have you tried freezing it? Does it turn out like a frozen yogurt dessert?

Yes, and sort of.

Ever freeze regular yogurt, or gogurt? It’s not ice cream, or frozen yogurt (Though that’s exactly what it is). And if you eat it totally frozen any fruit might get you.

Awesome in these, put them in a chilled lunch bag and the melt just a bit and it’s awesome.

My wife came home early and brought me a sugarfree mocha with an extra shot of espresso. She even rememered the 1/2 the syrup part.

And @sig that’s better than the typical we’ll have to extend this hellhole news.

Getting another stupid idea online. We’ll see where it goes. I need about $10k to get it going.

I’ve seen something like that. I’m not minimalist enough for that to work for me, but neat idea.

The demonstration went well and the customer immediately put it to use. Just need to do a little more research into this in case the basic configuration doesn’t work for other customers.

Also found out that the package for Trail’s Best Weet Maple Glazed Bacon Jerky says it should be refrigerated or finished off within three days of opening. You know, the seal on that package doesn’t look quite right. Oh dear. It was intact. Now I have eat the bacon jerky. What a shame.

Whipped yogurt. :yum:

I’m trying yogurt in the slow cooker tonight. My crock pot has a thermometer function on it, so I just set it to 180 degrees, and left it until it beeped. It’s cooling now.

Good luck… sometimes it just doesn’t work. Maybe 1 out of 20 for us.

I’m tempted to try it, but I’m not really a fan of yogurt. I did send the link to the instructions page to my wife and mother, though. One of them might give it a shot. Probably should have added one of my sisters, too.

I thickened up nicely. I tasted it this morning. So far it still tastes more like milk than yogurt, but we’ll see how it tastes when I get home. It’s straining now.

Now, the same is happening to me.

It sure is.

And Leon’s getting larger.

I discovered IFTTT, this is the future I thought I’d be living in. I’m sick of being surrounded by computers and still living like a primitive screw head.

By next week I’ll be auto posting on here when I poop.

We are on pace for a $3000 week. The bills are paid. The vendors are happy. The clients are happy.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop.:grin:
