Well the last combo is no longer available. Other than that, either one will play the games you want. I’d probably go with the first link as the video card is a slightly better model. The case looks cooler too. 
My second generation Kindle Paperwhite arrived, and it’s flawless. I was worried reading all the problems on the forums, but it’s just fine. It’s a noticeable, if not huge, improvement over the first generation.
Well looks like I might be stuck. My built in CAC reader is not compatible with Ubuntu. I can probably switch to another distro and get it to work, but I think I might just give up and swap the other way (Windows running a Linux VM). But for you @sig, I found this article talking about getting the CAC reader to play nice with Firefox and Chrome. It might come in handy for you.

I’ve replaced my HTC One X with a Nexus 5. With the One X I was lucky to reach lunchtime with as much as half a charge left, with a little effort I could have it to half charge in under an hour. It never made it through a day without needing topped up. The N5 has repeatedly demonstrated that even with moderate use I’ll have more than 50% charge left by the evening.
Oh, and I love the Qi charging 
Picked up one of these bad boys yesterday.
I don’t get/make a lot of time for yard work and when I do I hate sweeping up all the leaf litter.
I’ll have to keep this in mind. My Nexus Galaxy is due for a replacement in Jan. I thought about going to the RAZR MAXX for the battery life (I use my phone for everything). I might switch to the Nexus 5.
Only problem you might run into there is, if you were looking at the Razr MAXX, I’d assume you’re on Verizon. The N5 doesn’t work on Verizon, which is the current dilemma I’m trying to resolve in my own mind for when my contract is up in February. I know that no matter what, if I do a Verizon upgrade, I’m probably gonna lose my unlimited data, so I’m really tempted to just leave Verizon and go to T-Mobile or something like that just so that I can get unlimited data and the N5.
You are correct and I am going through that dilemma. I’m grandfathered in with unlimited and if I do an ‘upgrade’ I think I’ll lose it. I was thinking of buying a phone outright and staying with Verizon or possibly jumping ship. The service around here is not as good as when I was back north but it’s still okay. And I have Verizon FIOS if I move out of our crappy ISP so I might be able to bundle. Doubt it’s worth it.
I replaced my LG Viper 4G LTE (I’m pretty sure marketing trolls had a hand in naming it.) with a Samsung Galaxy S4. I was planning to wait a little longer and get a Note3 next year, still hesitant because of the size of the Note, though. But I was eligible for the upgrade and Best Buy had to go and drop the price to free + activation for Black Friday weekend. I picked up the blue one on Saturday. Loving it so far. The Viper was nice, but not-so-great battery life was getting old and the latest apps & updates were asking for more performance than the dual core proc could deliver.

Cool! Too bad the Ludo and Sir Didymus don’t look as good as the worm. Then again, maybe it is a good thing, since that means I’m not compelled to buy them…
My own artwork. My department went to Wine and Canvas last night and I painted a not horrible version. It’s a bare tree at night with a full moon and snow. Kind of cool, and I had a good time. Need to take my wife with me next time.
A Sony region free DVD/Blu-ray player. Now I can watch my Japanese and Korean imports on my TV instead of my computer.

Sunbeam would come post that she got Skyward Sword for the Wii, but she’s busy right now. We should get her back in a couple of weeks.
