Squid ink pasta is a dish I’ve heard of but never tried, so I don’t know. 
I do know that I love to snack on dried cuttlefish. I almost bought some today when I was in Japantown, but decided not to because it’s kind of expensive.
Is the ink just a flavoring/coloring to the pasta?
I believe it’s part of the sauce. Whenever I’ve seen it in the television shows that I watch, the people eating it usually end up with their teeth stained black.
