Cory Wells, of Three Dog Night, 74

Marty Ingels, comedian, actor, and agent, husband of Shirley Jones, 79

EDIT: corrected his spouse’s name, thanks to @GC8005

I think you mean Shirley Jones.

Mythbusters, after just over a decade.

They got rid of the Mythterns at the end of last year, and at the begining of this year, decided it would be the last season. I haven’t watched any episodes this season and finding out that they have a planned ending for the series doesn’t seem as interesting to me as it has been for other shows.

Al Molinaro, ā€˜Big Al’ from Happy Days, 96

That’s a pretty good run for a restaurant job.

Fred Thompson, former senator, actor, and (briefly) presidential candidate. Terrible candidate, but by most accounts a decent human.

Awww, so sad

Son, Russkies don’t take a dump without a plan!

I was so disappointed that this line didn’t come up in the recent episode of The Incomparable where they discussed the movie.

What? That’s a travesty.

My father-in-law passed away last night surrounded by his family. Rest in peace, Robert…

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s good to hear that he was surrounded by his family.

Jonah Lomu
All Blacks legend died at age 40. No details yet, but he had a history of serious kidney disease which cut short his rugby career, so I’m guessing that’s what killed him.

PF Sloan.

Writer of the 60’s protest song ā€˜Eve of Destruction’

Both parents of Boston College, USFL, CFL & NFL star Doug Flutie. Both of heart attacks, within one hour.

Damn, that’s harsh.

Ramona Jones, fiddler, Hee Haw star, wife of the late ā€œGrandpaā€ Jones (who died in 1998). She was 91.

Wow. I remember Hee Haw. My mom used to watch it back in the 70’s.

Scott Weiland, lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots, 48.

I can’t say this surprises me. Dude couldn’t stay sober for more than a few months.
