Paddy - 1 Feb 2008 to 30 Nov 2013 - pictured here in one of his favourite spots⦠in the clean laundry.
Battled with what was for months a ābehavioural issueā but after recently changing vets we now know to be gall bladder cancer.
Survived by his slightly older brother-from-another-mother, Ollie.
He made a profound impression on everyone he met, but mostly he was my shadow - would meet me at the door, then wait for me to stop moving my feet so he could headbutt my ankles with gusto, then look up at me to make sure I knew he was there. Most nights he would climb into bed alongside me while purring his little heart out.
Rest in peace, little friend.
Iām so sorry for you loss, Moufassa. Five is too young to go!
Thanks @Nabiki, I feel exactly the same way! He was a lovely little guy, always getting into everything. I got into the habit of slowly opening doors inside the house because it was highly likely he was waiting for me on the other side. He is sorely missed.
@moufassa I remember when you first got him and all the pics you posted. He seemed like a very cool kitty. Iām sorry for your loss.
+1 on Red Rabbit. I hated that book. I liked Rainbow Six and most of his earlier stuff.
Thanks F10. Yes he was a great little fella. We still have the original blue (grey) kitteh called Ollie that you may remember, and while itās not the same, he goes a long way to helping us along the road to recovery.
I liked him.
My chinchilla Musubi. He was the friendliest one that I had. He was less energetic than usual the night before last, and last night he didnāt look good at all. Today he went to the vet, but he didnāt make it. He will be missed.
That sucks Nabiki.
Itās always hard to lose a pet.
My condolences on your loss, Nabiki.

Hard to deny his influence on the course of world events.
A friend from high school. Died of a very rare childbirth complication - amniotic fluid got into her bloodstream. We all lost a good friend, and a newborn little girl lost her mother.
Iām so sorry for your loss @MSUAlexis. What an awful thing to have happen!
So sorry for your loss Lexis. Thatās justā¦stunning.
The vetās office sent a card for Musubi. The part that made me cry a bit was the front. Itās Musubiās pawprint.
Phil Everly - half of the Everly Brothers. I always loved their music, and was lucky enough to win tickets to go see them in concert back in '80 something.
