The last few weeks have been pretty awful for Australasian sports people.
Joeli Vidiri Died 23rd Feb at 48 of kidney disease
Va’aiga Tuigamala Died 24th Feb at 52 of a heart attack
Shane Warne Died 4th Mar at 52 of a heart attack
Vidiri & Tuigamala both played for the all blacks rugby team and very influential in their communities (especially Tuigamala)
Warne was Australian, so a bit of a nemesis for us Kiwis, but enormously influential in the cricket world.
If you’re a cricket fan, and were around in the late 70s and early 80s, you’d remember the infamous Aussie duo of bowler Greg Lillee and wicket keeper Rodney Marsh.
Rodney Marsh passed away last week at the age of 74 after a heart-attack a few days previous.
Crap, I missed that one. It’s even worse than I though 
74 is a more reasonable age to live to than the other three, but still a bit young in my opinion.
Emilio Delgado, best know as Luis on Sesame Street.

I still remember when I ordered one of the Dust Puppy plush figures from Computer Gear. I had it delivered to the company where I worked so it wouldn’t get stolen. I took it out of the box, the receptionist took one look at it and fell in love. I gave it to her but just never got around to ordering another. So I owned one for about 15 seconds.

I also miss Groklaw.net - was the best site for discussing law-related matters such as the SCO vs IBM case back then.

Not a surprise either, she’s been slow and refusing food and spent all of yesterday sunbathing on a treestump with all the other hens sitting around her. She was happy.
She died peacefully and without drama.

Perhaps best known as George Costanza’s mother and Mrs. Potatohead.
This made me so sad when I saw it this morning. I am a fan of terrific/odd voices, and his was one of my all-time favourites.
I may have to watch The Aristocrats again tonight.
