Solar energy course on edX started yesterday. Quite interesting. (online course)
Will see if I can pinch off some money for a certificate at the end of a course, a Delft University of Technology certificate will look good in my collection!
The first iteration of this course attracted over 60 000 students/participants, they expect the third iteration to attract over 100 000 participantsā¦
Twatter revenue is declining.
Finally got the Offer of Employment letter today. Have signed it, am waiting for confirmation from their side, then Iāll hand my resignation in.

Most of the employees was surprised to hear, but I think manglement will be even more surprised. Will have to wait and see.

I supply them with vanilla extracts, bitters and flavoured maple syrups for their kitchen, drinks, and coffee bar.
Toddās Kilt is cold-brew coffee, a splash of cream, a squeeze of burnt-cinnamon and vanilla simple syrup, and a dash of orange bitters.

I called my oncologist regarding having shingles and getting chemo next week.
I got a call back saying that new research has come out and I donāt need chemo any more until it comes back.
Shingles still suck, and apparently will suck more, but fuck it, even though I just got a new port put in Iāll take being done with chemo.

Accidentally became the senior trainerās favourite trainee today, just by telling her I grew up in a forest.

@Rizak and @Woodman oh Iām not stopping her, and she continued, but there was a distinct moment of genuine sadness when she realised that it wouldnāt go anywhere.
I should also point out that sheās one year my senior and so far the only person to say that inter-office relationships are both allowed and in some cases actively encouraged, although sex in the staff showers is frowned upon. When someone asked if she knew this from experience, Iāve never seen someone flush so rosy red in all my life.
Iām gonna like it there. Everyone is just as dirty minded as me. Which makes a change from being custodian of a castle and having to tour old people round such amazing sights as āthe original foundationā and āthis is where the well was before DHS (ermā¦ OSHA?) made us put a concrete block over itāā¦
