We had just started contacting dealers to order one, when Lance dropped them from their website. Yep, no longer in production! And heard from people on the Lance Owners forum some people got their 2295 orders cancelled!
So when we found this one we jumped, even though it doesn’t have the exact mix of options we would have chosen.
Arriving today is my son’s new shiny since he cooked the $1500 MSI Gaming laptop I bought him for high school graduation 2-years ago. This time around, I decided to spend the extra money and get him a more portable machine in a bulletproof build since he averages over 20,000 steps a day at UW Madison majoring in computer science.
I won’t get to see it for a few more months, but a pi-Stomp Core programmable effects pedal should be arriving at my home very soon:

Buying a conventional processor with anything like the capabilities of this thing (and without the ability to customize or modify it) would have run 3 or 4 times as much money. Cheap, DIY, programmable, music, electronics–this (if you will pardon the expression) pushes all of my buttons.
In my state in the US putting earplugs or earphones in/over BOTH ears is illegal, but one ear is OK, since that’s one way to use hands free cell phones.
Helpful to be Bluetooth’ed to the phone and get turn-by-turn in your ear.
A brand new state of the art Roomba i7+ thanks to a bunch of gift certificates and a cyber Monday sale. I have a nice Dyson but the dogs make it so annoying to vacuum every single day. Now I can do it whenever I feel like it with the push of a button. And my Dyson will still get plenty of work.
They’ve been reclassified as of 5e I believe. I think they’re now kind of independent operatives working for anyone that can afford them as spies/recruiters/whatever.
