Almost a year ago on Feb 28th the docs at the hospital stopped my heart.

So in a manner of speaking… I was reborn on that day. Hence, second birthday!

What Made You Happy Today?

Don’t know if this belongs in “What made you happy” or “What terrified the living cr@p out of you” but my pre-surgery checks are all good, so I’m cleared for surgery Friday. Full open heart, sternum splitting, heart-lung-machine myectomy and valve repair. Sheesh. But at least I know it wasn’t me! This is a genetic disorder, passed on from someone. (I haven’t had my Mom tested, and my Dad has passed, so…) The disease is HCM. Interested? https://www.4hcm.org
