Random Musings (and associated non sequiturs) v. 3.0

But it’s not all that comforting, especially since they run into one right after that.

I get it, but it’s the one line that sticks out sideways in the whole movie for me.

It’s the old, “Don’t worry your pretty little head” attitude.

Also apparently one of the nicest people alive, at least as an adult. Tons of stories of him being extremely cool to coworkers, kids, etc.

In addition by the time he made the movie he couldn’t carry Elwes on his back, during the wrestling scene he’s walking on landings behind Andre.

He also had a massive appetite for both food and drink.

The book Cary Elwes wrote a few years ago about the experience was very entertaining. Sounds like it would have been a fantastic project.

OHMYGOD I HAVE TO GET THAT BOOK FOR THE DRAGONLADY!!!
Her 60th is coming up soon and she said not to make a big deal out of it (insisted, really), but I think I really have to get her this book even though all she got me this year was a plastic sandwich bag of googly eyes.

I’m gonna need to see a photo, please. Also, is there a back story?

I had mentioned that it might be fun to have some googly eyes on hand in my Bag of Holding to cause mayhem.

Not much can help a Packers shirt, let’s be real. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I’m just happy my man-boobs have shrunk in the 3 years since that picture was taken.

And I still have that shirt.

Having grown up in Minnesota in a house divided, I ended up on the Vikings side of things. More to spite my mother than anything else, but trash talking the Packers is ingrained in me.

I get that sometimes you have to use an upside-down M to make a W on a readerboard, and sometimes you have to use an upside-down W to make an M, but doing both on the same board is just plain lazy.

Wife and I finished Syberia (Android). Satisfying and was nice to play together.

Of course, there were one or two spots where I had to consult the walkthrough when we got dreddfully stuck. But it was fun

Already purchased Syberia 2, and is back in action with Kate Walker.

Sadly it seems that the adventure gamer is a dying breed as most people prefer the adrenaline rush of FPS games…

While reading an article about peaceful resistance to fascists Amazon Ads throws up an ad for an axe handle.

ROFL!!! Made me laugh!

When will the singing penguin stop?

(There’s a stuffed Christmas Tux that sings Quackity Quack that got dropped into my room and turned on today. I just took it back to the room it came for and opened the door just enough to get it through and hit the button. We’ll see how many times it goes back and forth today.)
