Nice try, though. Your newest update wouldn’t proceed into the OS after a reboot without the Microsoft account info. However, after a quick reboot, all is well once more.

Im not a mac OS guy, but the lack of bloatware and trying to sell you parts of the OS after you buy the os is a big push for me. I like linux, but some of the applications i use are not supported on it.

We’re having issues with programming EPROM’s.

The code runs, but not correctly.

Now we suspect it may be because we’re using Windows10 64-bit as the programming platform. To test our theory, I have set up a Win7 32-bit PC up for the dev team to test with.

Originally the PC ran XP, which still boots etc, but XP started to bluescreen, and we think it may be the HDD on its way out.

So… grab a 500Gb HDD, slap Win7 32bits on it, and we’re good to go.

I briefly contemplated slapping XP on it, but naaah. XP ISO is somewhere on backups, and it is just a ballache.

If the thing still fails, then I’ll look at doing an XP install.
