Things you wish you could say (everywhere)

If you’re going to be ordering DoorDash in this nasty weather, I sure hope you’re tipping the driver extra!

Oh, you were so close to getting this right. You went to the crosswalk and pressed the button to signal you wanted to cross. But when the lights began to flash, you stepped out from behind the large garbage cans next to the lights that were hiding where you were and began walking into the street while looking down at the phone in your hand. You didn’t look to make sure traffic had stopped.

At least your two kids were looking straight ahead, even if you were more interested in your phone than crossing safely.

Awwww… Poor baby. You violated community guidelines AGAIN and your post got removed. Whine as much as you like about someone being a sorry grinch for reporting your post, but you don’t post someone’s real phone number on a meme to call the Grinch.

The one time somebody was ranting at bootlicker moderators on a forum I moderate.

Tried to get that person to calm down, and why he’s ranting.

Until he started to attack me. Then the banville dropped

This was 83 years ago. Aren’t we tired of hanging on to the hate yet? I got blamed every friggin’ year from grade school into high school for Pearl Harbor. Two years ago yesterday, my car was vandalized. Can’t this be taught in history right next to the Japanese American concentration camps?

Unfortunately you will get racists who will always bear a grudge, no matter what.

We learned about both Pearl Harbor and the internment camps, although lot more ink was spilled about the former. I’ve been to the Arizona memorial. I definitely had all the feels. But that’s only part of the story. I’m sorry people are screwing with your car.

Just a note, but internment camp means that they were imprisoned for some type of crime. Tule Lake had not only the worst concentration camp, they also had an internment camp for actual war prisoners.

I visited Tule Lake this summer, and the last time I walked up to Linkville cemetary, I noticed a lot of graves from the same year, and it turned out to be the year they closed down both the concentration and internment camps. It’s a really sobering thing.

My bad. That’s what they were called in history class. But as we all know our history is very whitewashed.

I also didn’t know the difference till Nabiki explained it to me.

When a half dozen people are telling you that what you want to do is against the rules, maybe you should stop pushing the idea instead of doubling down on it.

That sounds interesting, like something that happened at Chornobyl.

Was the idea pushed through, or was it abandoned?

F*** this BELA Bill.

F*** all politicians.

I did not kick the top step of my porch and tackle the ground yesterday.

(I did manage to get my hand that was in my jacket pocket up so I landed on my arm instead of my head and or face. I also managed to turn while falling. Once again, 18 months of Judo proving it’s value.)

I also managed to catch it on my doorbell camera, and the noise I make is pretty funny. It’s just a disgusted groan as I hit the pavement.

Exclusive: An NZ Rugby proposal will have intermediate-aged schoolkids playing 10-aside and 13-aside games — changes which are not universally popular.

Who tf wrote this precis? They need to go back to school.
At least they wrote 10-a-side in the main article

So, that’s like playing with 13 people standing on the sideline? Or do they draw lots and play without those players for the game?

Headlines don’t get the same editorial examination articles do, and even less now that editors are a dying breed.

What I will likely have to say: “It took longer for you to put the package there than it would have for me to answer the door if you had knocked or rang the doorbell.”
