With as many steps as Fitbit says you walk, it is difficult to imagine that description suits you.

Oh, Iām active enough. I just eat too much.
Eight showings scheduled in the first 24hrs of listing. Letās hope for asking. I need every extra penny for the down payment and to gut the new kitchen.

Pics, or it didnāt happen!
An offer on the house we donāt need has been made and countered and accepted. Pending inspection and appraisal weāre looking at April 24th for closing.
Already have an offer at asking. Closing timeline is way too aggressive - like two weeks. Gonna try and stretch that out to the end of April, since thatās when the other one is supposed to close by. And idk if the people Iām buying from even have a place to go yet!
And today, in contract on both houses. And got everything I wanted. May 5th is the latest Iāll be out of this house.
Revenge of the Fifth.
This is really minor, but I noticed that where I have the electric griddle is slightly off level. I can pour vegetable oil on the griddle and have it gather at a corner. Which means thereās just enough room to cook hash brown patties with a minimum amount of oil. Rotate occasionally and flip them over for the other side. I donāt have to use the deep fryer for something small like this any more.
Still figuring out how to properly cook pancakes using a pumpkin spice bread/pancake mix I got last year.
I was cleaning up my old (like, 13 year old) emails and found an email address for a friend Iād lost contact with over 10 years ago. I emailed him, not even sure that he was still alive much less still using that email address. Got a response back within a day with his phone number, and we chatted for over half an hour, just catching up.
Some good news yesterday. My daughterās colitis flare-up is settling down, and the hospital reckon she is probably not at the highest risk of covid complications any more. She is still at a moderate risk, but Iāll take any improvement
My little kids. Drinking some hot chocolate early in the morning.
It is unseasonally cool and overcast - been like this for two weeks already.
My wife got sent to WFH!
We set her work PC up on the dining room table, connected to the home WiFi, and just like that⦠NO MORE POSSIBLE EXPOSURE!

I have someone who is interested in buying some of my extra male quail! He just bought a second batch of quail eggs from me today and mentioned that he fed them to his reptiles. I asked him if he had any reptiles that might want quail, and he said yes.
Lovely sunny day with a nice cool breeze.
I donāt owe a ridiculous amount of taxes this year. I thought I would but it turns out that it was a data entry omission on my part.
DoD FINALLY has an enterprise chat system (Microsoft Teams) AND it can be accessed from a personal phone or PC without an ID card reader.
We have a preference for WebEx Teams,. but use MS Teams for file storage. Both are better than nothing, of course.
We are, admittedly, biased towards Cisco as even though theyāre a manufacturer weāre annoyed with, theyāre our manufacturer to be annoyed with.
My plum tree is in full bloom.
68 degrees and sunny. Went for a walk with the kids after work, then did our reading and discussion, then made the target dance with the air rifle in the back yard for a while.
