Iāve been gone for a bit, and in the meantime, Iāve gotten many new shinies. Guns, cameras, radios, CNC machines, lasers, drones, RC Planes, Rockets, 3D printers, blah blah blah. I even got a new Jeep:
But the best new shiny we acquired in the last few years is one shiny new United States Marine, shown here at his graduation from boot in 2020. Heās now up to Lance Corporal (last we knew). Me and momma are super proud.

Tom on Craigslist had my dream bass guitar that he didnāt quite gel with.

Ah dude! We found these videos about a week ago, theyāre immense! I have no idea how they manage to mesh the live video and Blender renders so well but I am jealous of their editor haha

See Iām all for liminal horror because it doesnāt have to be jumpscarey (which I loathe) or intense actionfear (see Alien 3 and 4 for what I mean), it can be slow-paced and eerie for as long as it likes because that is what makes it special.
Iām not so keen on the Backrooms Extended Universe (much like how SCP didnāt hold my attention) and it seems like Kane isnāt either since he happily contradicts the BEU whenever he feels like it.

Bought a Dell Inspiron 3000 series laptop with 16GB of memory, i7 processor, and 512GB NVMe SSD for storage. This is to replace the Lenovo X1 Carbon weāve been using as our media machine in the living room, which has been doing the job admirably for almost six years despite already being put through its paces a year and half prior to that at my old job.
Its former user back then lost the Z key for it and caused a screen defect where some sections are brighter than others. It will be going to e-waste since itās so old already. RIP and I give it a respectful salute for a job well done.
