Random Musings (and associated non sequiturs) v. 3.0

Yeah, vaporware in the flesh.

Isn’t that an oxymoron?

Right there with ya, brah. I got my annual throat infection on Wednesday and have been home (mostly) sick. It is usually accompanied by a light touch of the plague and full sinus attack.

I believe that is more properly spelled printerer.
I’m just sayin’ …

It’s not gong to help me out in a harsh Canadian winter.

I get seriously annoyed trying to read writing that has every word capitalized. It actually makes my head hurt. An example:

I Do Not Want To Go To a Work Today Because there Is A Large Aggressive Dog On The Steps Of My Building And Its Breath Smells Like A Fine Gruyere Cheese.

Yeah, totally sucks. I’m just finally getting over that. I feel for ya, bro, hang in there.

Was Rick James a serious act when he was popular? I swear he looks like a black Weird Al.

Pretty sure he was a serious act. When he wasn’t being a Superfreak.

Hm. Now my phone link to the car is acting up. Could be so many things:

  • Phone could be failing. It’s an ancient iPhone 4s.
  • Cabling could be failing, but I replaced the off-brand y-cable needed to hook an iPhone to my Mini.
  • Could be the Mini USB/AUX port failing.

I’m going to have to narrow this down. I think the next step is testing the Aux port by using a dedicated cable from the headphone jack (no jokes, please) to the aux. I’m getting power from the USB, but no signalling. On the other hand, the 4S has been cranky in general lately…

This is a surprisingly complex issue.

Weird. Reset my old phone, looked at the connectors, and now it seems to be working fine.

Oh, you have. Excellent.

That was the magic touch. They figured out you were on to their trick.

You gotta give’em ā€œThe Glareā€ every now and them to keep them in line. Works on RJ-45 connectors, too… Got me through crimping cables for years.

If I didn’t share it, it said it wouldn’t get out of my head.

EDIT: It lied… it is still haunting me. ā€œDingo ate your baby!ā€ Oy
Time to fire up Falco’s Amadeus

That moment when you line up for your post workout pee and it goes 90 degrees from planned.

Great way to start the morning.

Rage Against the Machine is the perfect backdrop for dealing with stupid things at work.
