Shame, somebody must’ve popped his balloon
At least there was closure.
I’m slightly hopeful this film will make a measurable difference in the percentage of people who understand the Rogue/Rouge difference.
I think your loosing the point their anyway,.
Irregardless, I have to go sale something.

@balance’s avatar looks to me like a confused Cthulhu
I just can’t bring myself to “like” this post.
I know your* taking the piss, but I cringe whenever I see stuff like that.
* It set my teeth on edge to right that too.
Pretty much. It’s a Mind Flayer from D&D, which is basically a squid-headed alien humanoid that lives underground and/or in space and eats brains. Definitely cthulhoid, at least.
I tried to get a friend to draw one face-palming, but art production is very slow sometimes.
I think the pic I’m using was from a small art piece in the margins of an older D&D book. Late 70s/early 80s vintage, I’d say. Don’t remember the book, though.
I apparently stink at proofreading my posts. ![]()
I actually started making the comment before reading your post. then had to read yours twice to see if you made the mistake or not.
However you think it’s spelled, go see the movie. You won’t be sorry.
I will be in about 4 hours.
I’m thinking about going tomorrow morning… maybe afternoon. Depends on how late I’m out tonight.
I wasn’t. I’d put it up there with ESB. ![]()
I’m glad I’m not an engineer. I spent about ten hours helping DD15 make a nut and bolt assembly in SolidWorks. Ten. Hours. Part of the problem was that the tutorial was in a different version from what we have. Part of the problem is that my daughter is a freshman in high school, and therefore knows everything. And of course, I’m a moron who is useless but yet the only one who can help her.
Lord, grant me patience…
Apparently for Capitec Bank things are very interesting today… bank is offline, and people are shopping in the malls…
My day was bookended with plumbing blockages.
However, not only was it two different fixtures that were blocked, it was two different types of fixtures that were clogged.
Disassembling the kitchen trap to extract the carrots peel chunks in the middle of final prep of a big family dinner kinda sucks. But no one puts up any roadblocks or tells you it can wait until later.
I think we’re going to be able to make a Friday Dinner-and-a-movie night, which is normally difficult due to our work schedules.
I don’t know SolidWorks, but AutoCAD is actively hostile to my brain these days. After a brief class in high school using the DOS version which I kind of understood, I find the newer versions frustrating. My only theory is it’s because I put the time in to understand the UI concepts that Illustrator, InDesign, and such use (going back to PageMaker, which I had to unlearn for Quark XPress) and the UI metaphors for the the ‘art’ applications are different in subtle but important ways from the ‘design’ applications.
SolidWorks looks like something you’d need to put the time in to learn.
What is ESB?
It’s a type of beer: Extra Special Bitter.
