Aww, Big Dino doesn’t work either!
Shame on you, @Lee_Ars, shaaaaaaame
hehehe
I could go older, but I don’t have a browser installed in my Mini vMac emulator ![]()

I’m less than four years behind on Schlock Mercenary.
I’m getting switched from VMWare to Remote Desktop to taking my Nuc back and forth and VPNing in.
Unfortunately, I’m trying to work from home right now and I think they are doing it this minute.
Listening to my daughter and her friend playing Minecraft.
“We need a hoe” “Hoe, hoe, hoe, where do we find a hoe around here?”, “Do you have a hoe?”, “I have two hoes”…
I don’t think they’ve noticed me snickering yet.
I finally got this stupid Lenovo Helix Ultrabook to boot from USB so I can get an image of it. Recommending to $Boss that we don’t order any more of these.
My home frankenserver is alive again.
It died in the very early hours yesterday. Thankfully it turned out to be the power supply - swapping in a new one brought it back to life. When I found out it was dead wife started asking if the server mattered, right at the point Jr asked why Plex was down…

Cavs win.
Normally I wouldn’t care, but for the reasons mentioned here: things you wish you could say everywhere, I’m happy.
Not to mention that it’s Cleveland’s first sporting championship in 50 something years, so all in all I think it’s a great result.
Today is an odd day. Yesterday was Father’s Day, and tomorrow is my birthday. So it’s not a special day, but if anyone gets shirty with me it will mess up my birthday. It’s like a bonus holiday, but not.
Woodman,
Yesterday was Fathers Day and tomorrow is my birthday.
Ummm… I said the same thing to my son this morning!
I usually remember my birthday as the first day of Summer but this year the Solstice falls on June 20th.
Happy early Birthday @Woodman!
JT
Bah, mere cosmological facts don’t change the fact that my birthday is the first day of summer.
Happy Birthday to yourself. Keep in mind that the creator thought you were so awesome that you deserved the longest birthday of the year.
BIRTHDAY TWINS! SQUEE!
I’m half the man Woodman is… I’m ~150 Lbs
Reminds me of the movie "Twins"
And no, I don’t look like Danny DeVito!!
JT
Hah, rub it in. At least I’m 6’4" and it’s spread out a bit. My lowest adult weight was 175 in the service. My most in shape weight was about 185 or so, I got into lifting for a bit when I was in. My goal weight is around 250, I’m not 20 anymore and 250 is actually pretty close to my age weight military standards. OK, looked it up, 226 is the standard, close enough.
And unfortunately I don’t look like Arnold, but thankfully I’m not as round as Danny either.
Found an all-but-forgotten ticket on our procurements system, I was able to prove that I did indeed put an order in for X, Y and Z, but Procurement only ordered X and Y… and claimed they ordered everything and was about to close the ticket…
…ticket reopened, snotty email with proof sent off and a demand for immediate delivery of product Z to be delivered ASAP was also sent off…
The Simon’s Cat Card Game just shipped from Steve Jackson Games. For $7, you get a game that looks to be easy to learn and easy on your wallet. Hopefully the local game shop will have it in stock.
“Go around the table playing cards to escape Simon’s attention. Get caught and you get Blame. Get too much Blame and you get fed last. No one wants that.”
I just saw on Top Gear that the Tesla Model X has a setting called “ludicrous mode”. It’s a launch control mode that let it beat a Dodge Charger Hellcat in a drag race.
They have got to make one of these in a plaid paint job.
Depends on the distance of the race. It’ll beat the Hellcat off the line but iirc the Hellcat catches up by the quarter mile mark. Ludicrous mode puts a lot of strain on the battery and generates a lot of heat in it. @Lee_Ars mentioned it in his most recent Tesla road test on Ars.
